All materials we use are the best quality available, sourced from premium manufacturers such as Dupont who make the insulating materials Kapton and Nomex. It takes time to make the top quality coils that Associated Rewinds produce for our clients. Our team of expert winders hand wrap the evolute of every coil we make using woven glass tape to ensure there is a specific amount of overlap on each winding, giving extra layers of insulation where it is needed most. Our experience has shown our re-wound motors add 15 - 20 years to the life of your locomotives, for a fraction of the cost of a new locomotive. |
