At Associated Rewinds we understand how important it is to get locomotives back into operation after scheduled maintenance, or a breakdown, as soon as possible.
Time is money, and this is especially true when locomotives are involved. As a company who work exclusively on Traction Motors for the Rail industry, we are in a unique position to provide our customers with exceptional turnaround speeds. A loco sitting in a depot waiting for a motor to be returned is not earning you, the owner / operator anything. Any downtime for a loco costs a substantial amount of money every day it is not in service. Our clients have informed us of their dis-satisfaction with suppliers who can be incredibly slow to carry out work. We have responded to this need and established ourselves as not only delivering top-quality Traction Motors back to our clients, but we can also perform the work in a much shorter time than other suppliers can.
Indicative Turnaround Times:
➧ Standard Overhaul: 7 – 10 days ➧ Armature Rewind: 4 weeks ➧ Stator Rewind: 4 weeks We will arrange the collection and delivery of all Stators, Armatures and Motors from your depots wherever you are located.
If we collect from you on a Friday, we will normally have your motors in Dublin by Monday, with the same short delivery time on the return journey. |
